About This Project
Global climate change has accelerated the frequency and severity of extreme weather events, making traditional disaster response models obsolete. This platform addresses the critical need for climate planning in the more vulnerable regions in the world by:
- Synthesizing historical flood occurrence metrics with 2026 climate and rainfall data.
- Normalizing complex topographic variables.
- Assessing flood risk, which serves as a warning to locals too.
The platform includes countries that are ravaged by war and hunger, and left open for natural desasters.
